Holy Geez! I knew some people would go out of their way to not have to help. But, to go through an entire pregnancy and then give birth; just to avoid being on a committee...that is a new one on me. Well, you know not really, I have heard of women in the military getting pregnant to avoid deploying.
At anyrate, congrats Lisa. I am happy for you.
to all others, I guess the bar is set. Unless you have given birth within the last 4 months, you should be helping in some way. Make a phone call or send an e-mail or something to help out.
Guys, a little secret I have learned in the military...if you get stuck on a committee that you have no desire to help with...just keep making really stupid suggestions. after a while they don't ask you for anything. (don't tell the girls or you wont be able to get away with it)
Anyway, life in Korea is great. In a way it is like being in a country with only women. I go off base into the local community and they all talk and talk, really fast and I can't understand anything they are saying.
