What was one (or some) of your favorite classes in high school, and why?

Concert Choir / Madrigals and Ensembles - It made a Connection with my Voice and Singing has since been a Life-long Pastime and enjoyed throughout life.

Who were some of your favorite high school teachers, and why?

Dan McDaniel. Kitty Lawson - as they worked Extra Long Hours on Plays & Musicals and Making Our Musicals and Choral Departments Stand Out in State Competition while at the Same time, Building Confidence in a Students Pride for a Job Well Done and They Worked Many Many Long Hours of their Own Personal Time to Ensure that We, as Students, were the Best We Could be.

Are you married and how many kids, grand kids, and great grand kids do you have?

Widowed in Dec 2008 - Currently Married to My Wife, Kelly on 23 July 2019 - I have Only Three Children - Twin Daughters that are 29 Yrs Old and a Son that is 26 yrs of Age - All of Which are "Libra's" also as well as Myself. I now have a Grand-daughter that is 1 1/2 from my Son.

Where do you live now, and where all have you lived for more than a year since you left high school?

Currently Live in Pensacola, Fl, where I Retired from the US Navy in Jan 1996. I was in the Air Force from May 1972 to May 1974 and Was Stationed in Marquette, MI, Denver. CO and Kadena AFB in Okinawa, Japan - I Rejoined the Navy in Dec 1977 and Retired in Jan, 1996. Was Stationed on Many Ships and Air Craft Carriers, West-Pac Cruises and Deployments, Desert Shield/Storm Veteran and Was stationed in the States of WA/CA/MI/KS/FL/TN/GA/CO and Several Over Sea's Locations.

What is your occupation, and if retired, when did you retire?

Graduation from H/S in 1971 - US Air Force - 1972 - 1974: US Navy - 1977 to Retiring in 1996 - Worked Off-Shore for 2 years With the Merchant Marine Fleet, and Dixie Carriers. an Off-Shore Company as a Able-Seaman and Tanker-Man - Drove Long-Haul & Was an Owner Operator, Over-the-Road Driver from 1998 till Retiring again in Mar of 2017.

Who were some of your best friends from high school?

Mike Kirshner - Richard Rayman - Roberta Rang - Sandra Sumner - Debra Swain and Others but I'd Rather say Just Friends as I Remember Many but My Memory has taken many rides since then too ?????? It has been since 1991 was the last Reunion I attended but am Looking forward to the 50th in 2021 and doing some Fishing in the area lakes then too !!

May 1972 - May 1974 US Air Force - Dec 1977 - Jan 1996 US Navy till Retirement and Stationed Same as Above

3 Yr VA Agriculture School at Barr Reeve H/S with the VA from 1975-1977 - Many Courses and Military Schools throughout my Military Career.

On the political front, would you consider yourself a Republican, Democrat, Independent or you don't pay attention to politics?

Independent - And Don't Care as Long as I Continue to Receive my Military Retirement and Veterans Disability Checks Every Month !!

Work, Work & More Work !! It is Not Who You Are or Were, Or How Much Money You Made, or Where You Went to School, What College, What Major, What You Have or Don't Have, or Never Had or Never Wanted, but What Life has Been in the Last 50 Years was One Hell of a Roller-Coaster in a Learning Experience and Many Memories of both Good & Bad, But Over-all I Would not have Changed Anything in My Past or From my HS Days. Life is What you Make it and is All About Choices !! Money, Status. Materialistic Value's of What You Have or Own, Means Nothing to me what-so-ever and Does not Define Who or What I am as a Man or a Human Being. I Say What I Mean, Do What I Say and if someone doesn't Like that then That is Their Choice to Live as They Wish also. I Try to Pay it Forward as Often as Possible, as Many People Today are Not as Fortunate as we were in Our Past and a Little Sympathy and Good Deeds will go a Long Way and Just Get a Simple Smile is all that Makes My Day !!

Looking back 50 years at WHS, are there any regrets that you want to share with your classmates? Is there a course that you wish you had taken? An action that you did that you wish you could undo? A conversation that still you wish you could do over?

Graduating

All things considered now that we are looking back almost 50 years, what did you think of our high school education?

If Our Kids and Grand-Kids, Were Taught Today and in the Last 50 Years, as We Were, Then there Would Have Been a Lot LESS Trouble in the School System than the Night Mares that are there Now !! We HAD IT EASY But Yet Fun too !!
