Well, with Carl Smith as my DECA teacher and John Powell (manager for Big Star Foods) as my next door neighbor, I was destined to work in the retail sector. I moved to Northern KY in 1988 where I started working for Sam's Club till present and have been in management with them for 22 years. I enjoy the community work associated with the job, volunteering and giving grants to local schools and charities. I have served as an Ambassador for the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce and currently sit on the Board of Advisors for the Clermont Chamber of Commerce. I get to meet all kinds of business people and develop great friendships. On a personal note, I love my local church, St. Andrews Episcopal, where I serve as an usher and cook once a month for the Domain Reading Camp. I belong to the following organizations...

I do get to visit Washington about once a year to see the family, but unfortunately I will never be able to return and reside since my roots have grown deep here since I have 7 grand-kids. I do miss everyone and hope to see you passing through. If you're ever in the Cincinnati area, call me!
