09/30/08 11:10 AM #2     Kamace Wines-Jones (Priest) Hey, everyone. We need to get some discussion going about reunion plans. As I've said, I suggest we do the picnic thing at the park. Charge $1 per person ages 2 and up to cover the cost of the burgers. Everyone bring something to share with everyone and your own drinks for your family. I can probably get my parents to cook the burgers for us and if any of your parents would like to help, let me know. We can sort of get together on what to bring. Later on, I can put another survey out there and give everyone a choice/idea of what everyone is bringing so we can get a good variety. What do you think? Kamace

I know that once Rob Fontenot's mom (Joanne Garrett) had told me she'd love to see everyone and had offered to cook or serve if we had something like this--there may be other parents that would be interested in helping. I believe that you must reserve the pavillion area at the park through the city of Waskom. Not sure if you have to rent it or just reserve it. Maybe Julie Allwhite knows?? If they will let us I would rent an inflatable jumper for the kids to jump in--not sure if City of Waskom would mind, though. Anyone talk to Big Star Rob Darien???Maybe he could bring his band and set up and sing us some tunes! Dana

I organize our churches functions, and have gotten the big jumpers, and rock climbing walls, etc....if you guys want me to check on the prices. They come out of dallas, and they set them up, and just require we have volunteers to man them! I usually do 1 hour volunteer turn arounds for a 6 hour gig. But, we can probably get them cheaper for a shorter amount of time!!! Let me know....i can send you some pics of the games we had! Thanks...M

10/16/08 01:30 PM #7     Kamace Wines-Jones (Priest) Hey Dana and Melinda, Why don't you guys talk and decide what you want to do about the inflatable jump things, etc. You'll need to figure out how you are going to cover the cost. If you get an idea of who is coming and how many kids everyone has, maybe you could charge so much per kid. That is, if everyone that is coming with kids, is agreeable. And make sure you get your volunteers to man it!! I'll take care of the food end. Thanks!!
