Pachonce Miles Brantley

Brent and I married on August 19, 2000, after 3 years of dating. One reason why we dated so long was the distance between us. He was in Connecticut going to school, and I was in Texas going to school. However, we talked on the phone everyday. As you can imagine his phone bill was high. We have been married for 11 years. I have found that with any relationship that you value, it takes work. It's worth it! We settled in Plano, Texas, for the first three years. Then we moved to South Grand Prairie near Joe Pool Lake where we plan to stay put.

I am the Financial Project Manager at Clark Consulting in Dallas, Texas, where I have been for 13 years. I graduated from Amberton University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Southern University with an Associate of Science in Business Administration. I am a member of The National Society of Accountants (NSA), American Society of Women Accountants (ASWA), and the Project Management Institute (PMI). I am a certified credit consultant (CCC).

Brent attended school at Yale University in New Haven, CT, and is a Product Manager for a non-profit in Irving, Texas.

In July 2007, we adopted a Maltese whom we named "Papi" after Big Papi with the Boston Red Sox.

Brent and I enjoy traveling, sharing a meal with friends, and watching movies.

I learned a great deal about the nature of people and how to deal with various personalities. My experiences in school had a part in how I treat people today. I am thankful that the examples that I had at home helped me to be balanced and to treat people with love, patience and kindness.

Pachonce means "to be patient" (Creole French).
