Walter passed away on April 4, 2011 from a fall. He was 70. Walter was devoted to his Lutheran faith and was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church of Brewster, MA. He also enjoyed soduko and fishing. Walter was retired from Uniroyal Chemical Co. as a plant comptroller in Geismer, La.
I remember Walter to be one of the boys in our class to admire. A student with a gentle nature, in my advanced classes. I used to think that he would succeed in life, accomplish whatever he attempted, I am sorry to hear that a fall took him to his final resting place. May he rest in peace as all of us wish as we draw closer to the end of the road. Prayers to all in the class of '58.
