James (Red)  passed away on December 28, 2012 at the age of 73 in Waterbury from complications from diabetes.

He served in the US Army, attended U.C.L.A. and received an associates degree from Post University.  

Red loved baseball and was instrumental in the conception of the Twi-Met Baseball League and the Waterbury Timers.
