Delores passed away on June 27, 2011 at the age of 68 at the Smilow Cancer Center at Yale New Haven Hospital.  Delores lived in Naugatuck, CT. 

Delores was an active member of many organizations including St. Vincent Ferrer Ladies Guild where whe was publicity chairman, the Naugatuck Women's Club (executive board and publicity) the Naugatuck Democratic Town Committee, the American Business Women's Association, and Christopher Columbo.

In 1991 she was awarded Mother of the Year by the Fraternal Order of Eagles.
