Edward Maglio Jr. (the Mad Hatter) passed away on April 18, 2004 at the age of 64. Ed is survived by his daughter Robin and son Edward Jr. Ed was a well know DJ in the Waterbury area known for his outlandish antics on the air for fundraising. An annual scholarship is given in his honor and his sister Deborah Maglio Kaplan by the Wilby Alumni Association. Sadly, Ed and his sister Deborah (Sister Hat) passed away within an hour of each other. They are truly missed.

Ed was also know as managing a few local top bands in the 70's as well
Also friends with nationally known dj Wolfman Jack of New York radio fame Ed felt
he was very caring down to earth loved his family "shirt off his back " kind of guy.

He and his 2nd wife LInda stayed best friends ,she staed and visited him@ took him out when possible at Cedar Lane nursing home
