Shellie passed away on March 26, 2019 at the age of 75 in Lake Worth, FL.   He attended UConn where he earned his BA  in Education and Masters in Business Administration.   He spend the first 10 years of his career teaching at Watertown HS and coached basketball.   He was a professor at Mattatuck College where he taught business classes and was a consultant to Waterbury NOW.  He entered te corporate world where he joing FIP Corp. as a controller in 1973.  In 1977 he was appointed to the board of directors.  He was later employed at Bronson and Hutensky in Hartford where he was promoted to CEO.  He later moved to Florida where he continued working with US Mortgage until his retirement.
