Marino passed away unexpectedly on August 29, 2010 in Waterbury at the age of 72.   He is survived by his wife, Elaine (Carta) Ligi, two sons Richard and Mark, a daughter Maria Rousseau, and eight grandchildren

Marino was a skilled carpenter and worked as a supervisor for Construction Services of Bristol.  He volunteered for many years at the Boy's Club of Waterbury.  He was an avid golfer.
