Inez passed away on May 26, 2018 in Wolcott, CT.   Inez began her teaching career at the Jewish Community Center in Waterbury with pre school children.  She was an educator in Wolcott teaching 7th grade at Alcott School and second grade at Frisbie School, and first grade at Wakelee School.   She was a negotiator for the Wolcott Education Association, co-operating teacher for the BEST program.  While at Wakelee she designed and implemented the Reach Out and Read initiative.  She was selected as Wolcott Teacher of the Year as well as Connecticut Association of Schools Teacher of the Year.
