Ernie passed away on August 13, 2024 at the age of 67 in Waterbury, CT.   He began his career with the City of Waterbury then went on to work for Buzzuto's and finally as a sales representative for John Hayes and Son, and Pepsi Cola until he became disabled and could no longer work.  He enjoyed bartending at many establishments and was a bowler at Sena's Bowling Lanes
