Comments:

I have been living in Brazil most of the time since 1994, teaching in churches in an area near where I lived before moving to Waterbury back when I was at Wilby. I get back to CT now and then, a bit less now that I am coordinating a Drug and Alcohol Rehab place.

Before coming to Brazil, I worked at Unisys in Waterbury for two years--one of my co-workers was our classmate Vic Colaci.

After graduation from WIlby, I studied at Dartmouth College, and after a couple of years teaching high school science, I completed my Master´s in missions/intercultural studies at Wheaton College in Illinois.

I wish I could have gone to reunions, but I am usually only home in the summer for a month or so. I was always the nostalgic type. I always enjoyed running in to classmates at Stop & Shop, but that has been a while. I hope more of our classmates sign up. I found this site looking for one of our classmates who happened to be one of the few!

School Story:

Do we really remember that far back? Actually I just told someone about my Junior year when I won the only election of my life (I was treasurer with some great people--Ginny and others). My favorite memories are the girls basketball NVL title game and senior year having-a-blast-enjoying some freedom the administration and teachers gave us to grow up (breakfasts, going out for flowers for those events, getting together before homeroom in Purcaro´s lab with our special comb-key--with his permission of course) We thought we were special--and years later, meeting teachers like Mike Purcaro and Ken Killler, who actually confirmed that we were. Mr. Purcaro was a patient of my sister Loreen Daigle, chiropractor in Middlebury. He just laughed as he talked about us. I don´t think they ever had a class like ours. I doubt any other student would dare give his teachers´report cards and Crumb of the Year Awards, at least.)
