James passed away February 3, 2010 age 77 iin Waterbury, CT.   James is survived by his wife Thomasina Schifilitti Perugini of 54 years.   A daughter Kim Santopietro, 2 sons James and Robert.

He played football for Wilby.   He was a US Army verteran serving in Korea and was a recipient of many medals including the Purple Heart and Bronze Star.  He worked for CL&P.  He coached football for the Waterbury Knights for eight years winning two championships during the 1970's.   He was a member of the V.F.W. #7330 and American Legion.
