Robbie passed away on July 2, 2016 at the age of 86 in Middlebury, CT.   He was a veteran of the Korean War having served in the Army's 205th Signal Corp and was the recepient of the Korean Service Medal with 5 Bronze Stars  and the Army Occupational edal of Japan with 2 silver bars. 

He served in a variety of management postions in the banking industry for over 40 years.  He had formally served as an Assistant Manager at Household Finance a Regional Vice President for the Waterbury National Bank, a Senior Vice President for Mattatuck Bank, a Senior Vice President at Security Savings and Loan and retired in 1992 as Vice President with North American Bank.

He was a former member of the Board of Directors and past Chairman of the Pine Grove Cememtery Assoc. a former board member of the Salvation Army, Junior Achiement and the Neighborhood Housing Services.
