Richard passed away on October 25, 2017 in Cheshire, CT.  He was a Korean War Veteran.  He received his graduate certificate from the Amerian Institute of Banking.   He was long active in the community serving as president of the Waterbury Institute of Banking, Treasurer of the Salvation Army in Cheshire and Thomaston, was involved with the United Way, The American Cancer Society campaigns and the Chesire Chamber of Commerce.  He retired from the Colonial Bank in 1984
