I worked at Western Union right after gradution, then I got a secretarial job at Waterbury Tool. I met my husband, Bob, at the Sunday night dances at Hamilton Park. We married on August 11, 1951, moved to Thomaston and spent 58 happy years together there until he passed away 4 years ago. We have one daughter in Meriden and I live with her now. Of my 6 siblings, only my two younger sisters and I remain. They both still live in Bunker Hill.
