Michael passed away on September 5, 2015 in Waterbury.   After Wilby he attended Post College.  Michael served with the 492nd Port Battalion, in the Solomon Islands during WWII.   He worked for the Waterbury Freight House, was a Burton Street firefighter on Engine 1, served as clerk of the school board and Civil Defense director as well as a car saleman for Conda Pontiac.
