Francis Kennedy passed away on May 3, 2015 in Watertown,  CT   Mr. Kennedy retired in 1966 from the City of Waterbury, Department of Education where he served many years as an administrator. 

He previously taught Chemistry and Physics at Wilby High School, Sacred Heart High School, and Father Duenas Memorial High School on the island of Guam.   He was also a member of the adjunct faculty of Naugatuck Valley Community College where he taught Chemistry.   He also served on the faculty of the University of Bridgeport, School of Education as a supervisor of student teaching.   He was the reccipient of seven National Science Foundation  grants for the study of Chemistry and Physics.
