Married Cheryl in 1982 moved to Winthrop Harbor. In 1986 we moved to Pleasant Prairie WI. I retired From Abbott Labs/Hospira in 2015 after 41 years. I worked for a Japanese company based out of Osaka Japan for 3 years, doing pharmaceutical process auditing. Spent 14 years off and on working for Stein's Garden and Home in Kenosha as associate in Sale specialized in Landscape design, product knowledge and chemical specialist. I retired from Stein's March 2022. I the early 1990's I became a Master Gardener associated with University of Wisconsin, holding that title for 15 years. From 2010 to 2018 I taught Adult education classes at UW Parkside. In December 2020 we purchased a summer home in Oshkosh WI as a summer home for our family.
For my 25th anniversary at Abbott Cheryl bought me a 1966 GTO which we took to many car show local and out of state. I still enjoy professional baseball (St. Louis Cardinals) and NASCAR, boating and fishing.
In 2019 I had a mild stroke that slowed me down a bit, but have almost recovered completely.
