Sarah Bloemers Nienhuis

After attending 5 years of college in Grand Rapids, MI, I married Dean and we moved to Chicagoland. I taught music there for 5 years and then had my first child. Upon his 1 year birthday, I quit my job to stay home with him full-time and have more babies. I was a stay-at-home mom for 8 years.

After 11 years in Chicagoland, we decided to move back to Wausau. We have been here 3 years. Now that all my kids are in school full-time, I am back at work. It's very surreal to be a music teacher in the schools and district I grew up in!
