Michael R. Bandock
 
34, Wausau, died Tuesday, January 1, 2008 unexpectedly at his home.
 
He was born November 9, 1973 in Wausau, son of Susan (Cline) Bandock and the late Robert Bandock.
On January 30, 1998 he married Margaret Schifelbine in Wausau. She survives.
 
Michael was captain of the Rib Mountain Fire Department, drove ambulance for Spirit and taught EMT
classes at Northcentral Technical College. His passion for work and attention to detail were unmatched.
He served his country in the National Guard for nine years. Being a Boy Scout his whole life he also
became an Eagle Scout and a Cub Scout Leader. In his spare time he enjoyed anything Star Wars and
above all he loved spending time with his family.
 
Survivors include his wife, Maggie, Wausau; sons, Ben and Jake Bandock, Wausau; mother, Susan
(fiancé Al Meyer) Bandock, Wausau; brother, David (Kelly) Bandock and their children, Carly and Ethan,
all of Columbus, Wis.; grandmother, Naomi Cline, Wausau; mother-in-law, Merle (John King) Schifelbine,
Wausau; father-in-law, Dave (Barbara) Schifelbine, Schofield; sister-in-law, Camille (Daniel) Marschall,
Wausau; brother-in-law, Rev. Casey (Jennifer) Schifelbine and their son, Teisen, Washington;
grandmother-in-law, Margaret Schifelbine, Wausau and his second family the Rib Mountain Fire
Department.
 
Besides his father, Robert, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ben and Ruth Bandock;
grandfather, John Cline and grandfather-in-law, Walter Schifelbine.
