I enjoyed getting to know Barb at Washington Elementary. I also got to know her mom as she was one of our Girl Scout leaders. Barb's family had a bomb shelter and we enjoyed playing in it. I enjoyed conversing with her on Facebook and catching up on our lives. She was such a dear, kind person and I will really miss her.

Barb and I, both flute players, sat next to each other in band for 6 years at Longfellow and Tosa East. Then we both continued playing flute at UW-Whitewater. We also spent time together at each other's home after school and/or weekends. I'm so sorry we have lost her and my condolences go to her family. Although we lost touch with each other after graduation, we connected again due to her work on the class reunion and later on Facebook.
