Kim Wagler Fenton

I graduated UNI in 1993 with a BA in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. I then got a job at the Mt. Pleasant Christian School in 1993.

I married LaMar May 28, 1994. We first lived in Wayland and then bought a house in Mt. Union so now we are Wolves. Scary, huh? I taught 1st grade for 7 years and then after our last child was born, did not go back. I now have an in home registered childcare business and it keeps me very busy. LaMar got a brain disease, Central Nervous System Vasculitis, which causes inflammation of the blood vessels and then strokes. He's had 13 and the last one 3 years ago damaged part of his brain function. He is on chemo and prednisone and has been since 2001. So I started my daycare so I could be home with him. He is able to walk again after physical therapy. Other than that, life is good!

Our children are growing and are very busy. Taime is in 7th grade. He is in wrestling and had a 13-3 record. He is also in basketball (they were 10-1), football, and played baseball and band. He also loves school.

Christian is in 6th grade and is in basketball, football, baseball, soccer, and band. He does well in school (but it sure is not love at first sight). He lives for ESPN.

Olivia is in 4thgrade. She is in acrobats, soccer, basketball, flag football, and softball. She loves school to visit with her friends. I'm not sure she is getting the concept that learning is suppose to happen too. :)
