I miss my buddy Doug and think of him often. In his passing the number of people that came together (family, friends, old classmates, etc.) was a tribute to his wonderful kind soul and warm personality. He always made me smile, and in writing this,he still does. Love for Doug, Joy and family

I last saw Doug at my Dad's funeral in 2001, and maybe ran into him once more after that. He still looked about the same, I thought. I'm sorry to learn of his passing.

Doug was a genuinely nice guy, had an easy smile and was friendly to all. Best wishes and condolences to his family. He shall remain in my thoughts.

Hilby and I have always been so close to Doug and Joy and miss those days so bad. We never lost touch and Hilby and Doug would celebrate their birthdays a few times a year along with Terry Chrisman. Doug was our son Brian's best man in his wedding. For probably atleast 10 years Doug and Joy would come over on Christmas Eve and help us put Brian and Scott's toys together. Some pretty big things like train sets to the simpliest that would take until 4-5 in the morning. Of course from about midnight on it took the guys so much longer because their minds were not thinking as straight as they did earlier in the night. Oh the list goes on! Doug was a wonderful fun guy and it was one of the worst tradegy's. Doug will live on in many of hearts forever. Joy has had to be one very strong person and has went through alot. Our love and frinedship for each other has and will always be cherished. Reggie.

I had no idea he was gone until I logged into this site. Can not believe it. Doug, Don Clack and I put some miles on together and hoisted a few along the way. Great memories, especially one time at our auto mechanics teacher's house. So sad.

Doug will forever be in my heart! He was kind, funny, and a loyal friend. He married his soul mate and I admire her strength and courage. I know Doug will be with us @ the reunion. We are all blessed to have know him. Deb
