Your story from 1989 and on:
Following graduation, I attended Wayne State College, where I met my wife, Becky. We were married in 1991 at the beginning of our Junior years. We both graduated from WSC in May of 1993, me with a B.S. in Mathematics and a double minor in Physics and Business Administration and Becky receiving a B.S. in Chemistry with a minor in Biology.
Becky and I moved to Omaha where she attended Pharmacy school at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. While in Omaha, I worked as a Pension Plan Administrator for ConAgra Foods and Benefit Plans, Inc. In Dec. 1996, we moved to Cambridge, NE where Becky had been offered her first job as a Pharmacist. I found employment with the local telephone company as their internet service manager. We absolutely loved living in Cambridge, but felt the call to move "home" after our daughter Morgan was born in 1999.
In the summer of 2000, we found the opportunity we were looking for. Becky was offered a Pharmacist position with Sav-More in Wayne and we found an acreage North of town that we really liked. 8 1/2 years later...we are still in Wayne...Sav-More was bought out by Pamida Pharmacy. Pamida was subsequently bought out by Shopko, where Becky is now the pharmacy manager...I bounced from job to job until landing a great gig with an agricultural marketing company, Beck Ag. I have been with Beck Ag for 14 years. We have moved to a beautiful turn-of-the-century home right across the street from the elementary school (former middle school).
We have 5 wonderful children, 3 biological children, Morgan, Eli & Jake, and 2 siblings, a girl (Frantzdie) and a boy (Wanso), adopted from Haiti in January of 2014. Our oldest daughter is currently a Sophomore at Wayne State majoring in secondary math education. The other 4 children attend Wayne Elementary and Jr. High schools and are heavily involved in numerous activities including football, volleyball, basketball, wrestling, track, swim team, band, choir, speech, and Lego League. This keeps us VERY busy!
We lead a blessed life and are extremely happy in Wayne. It was a great place for all of us to grow up and I am pleased to have the opportunity to raise my kids here. I am looking forward to seeing all soon.
