Your story from 1989 and on:
Wow. I’ve been wondering what to write. Hmmmm. I got 30 years older??
Major life changes. My company closed, after being employed 13 years, in April 2011 when I was 8 months pregnant and yes, I Had a baby over 40... had injuries from delivery forcing me to stay at home and still suck at it! Hahaha
Many losses for Sean and myself. My dad, grama and Sean’s step dad, dad and then a year ago his beautiful mother.
We have a gorgeous grandson in California from Sean’s son and wife, named Luc.
Nathan, our oldest, will be heading to Japan this fall for a year abroad studies.
Our amazing girls are 13 and 7! Calculate? 21, 13 and 7 not “family planning”. All Gods plan and a sure sign of His sense of humor.
(The extra beauty in the photo is our guardian daughter Hevin)
Okay. I am flashing to Romy ans Michele's High School Reunion. LOL
After graduation, I attended WSC a whole block and a half away from home. I then proceeded to BOMB my sophomore year in the fall of '90 after the "willow bowl" incident.
Mom and I moved to Lincoln in '92 where I received my counseling degree in '94.
I partied very hard for the next few years and accomplished little. I worked for the schools, a vet clinic for 4 years and have been at the same job since '99.
My first adult task was having my A MAZ ING son in 1998. Nathan was a gift and what I would like to consider immaculate conception, even though we know that's not true.
He and I took on the world by ourselves for eight years and then this guy...this beautiful, hardworking man, well...gifted me with Mari Erin Rose (Mah-ree) in February of 2006, so being old as I was, We hitched in a private Ceremony on Mother's Day of 2006 and had a wedding in August of the same year.
Sean is this wonderful dad, to Nathan and Mari and I have had to learn NOT to be so independent.
Other than that...I have definately learned the difference between being poor and "stable" is the difference when our children say "MAY I have" versus "GIVE ME!!" LOL (i miss being poor...)
