Wow! Who is that girl in the picture up there??

My life...I married Kurt Stauffer in June 1980. We custom harvested from Texas to Montana during the summer every year. I had Kyle and then Kelly and then in April 1992 we lost our nephew in a motorcycle accident. Kurt and Dustin were really close and Kurt didn't deal with losing him very well. In December 1992 I filed for divorce and it was final in May 1993. I met Len in May 1994. In July 1997 we got married and combined our families. He has three sons and I have two. Jeremy had graduated from high school by that time so we only had four sons that lived with us. Kyle, Kelly, and Jarrod are very close in age and were very close growing up. Jeremy, Len's oldest son has four girls and his middle son Jimmy has a son. Jeremy got married to his wife, Stephanie last summer, right before his 4th daughter (really his 3rd daughter, but that is another story) was born. His wife has two daughters from a previous marriage, so they have 6 daughters together. My son Kelly got married in October. His wife, Amanda will have their first child in July. We are very excited about that. Jeremy and his family all live at Sapulpa. Kelly and Amanda live in Waukomis. Kyle lives in Grant NE, Jarrod lives in Jenks, and Jimmy lives here in Alva. We got a new baby in May 2007. Buddy (our baby) is a Lhasa Apso.

Len works as a Safety Instructor at NW Technology Center in Alva and Fairview. He was a Fireman for the City of Alva for 30 years before he retired and went to work for NW Tech. I work at NWOSU as the Scholarship Coordinator. After Kurt and I got divorced I went to work for Central National Bank of Alva. I worked there for six years until I went to work at the University.

Len and I are enjoying having the house to ourselves with no children living at home. We love the boys, but it is nice being able to come and go as we want to. Len is a Deacon at the 1st Assembly of God Church in Alva, so that keeps us really busy. And work keeps us really busy.
