After graduating in the lower third of our class, I was off to MIZZOU to kick some serious academic butt. Yeah, it took me one year to flunk out, as I much preferred playing bridge to attending class. I kicked around for a couple of years until I was drafted in April, 1966. My five years of service included one year stateside, three in Germany, and the final one in Viet Nam. Upon discharge, went back to Columbia, did well, and went on to get masters at Webster University.



Spent most of my working career in the grocery industry in the real estate end of it. My basic job was to select locations for new stores, then develop shopping centers to house them. Some of you may remember National Supermarkets. I was the VP of Real Estate there until we were acquired by Schnucks. At that time I found a similar position with Associated Wholesale Grocers in Kansas City.



Along the way, I was married for thirty years, the first twenty-eight of which were wonderful, but the last two sucked. Shortly after retiring, we divorced, and I moved here to Fort Collins, Colorado. My two children are here. Brad, my oldest, is married to a wonderful woman, and is the father of my only grandchild, Soprano, now eight years old. Todd, my youngest, will be entering his last year of nursing school in the fall.
