Well let’s see, after graduation I enrolled at Ole Miss, partied hard but luckily I was able to graduate with a BS in Chemistry. I enjoyed the party life so much I stayed another 6 years. During that time I met my future wife, completed my Ph.D. in Electro-Analytical Chemistry, and participated in weekly drinking competitions at the fraternity house. Upon graduating I moved to Dallas for a year to complete a Post-Doctoral study in Surface Science. Then I was off to Connecticut, to work for a British electronics company as a research scientist and manager of European technology. Talk about a lot of snow, but the summers were great!!! I lived in a small beach town next door to Yale, so there was always something going on. I have to say, this was my favorite job of all time. I was “required” to travel to Europe every two months. I have visited Paris, Rome, Brussels, Dresden, Munich, Milan, and Naples to name a few. Since all good things must come to an end and believe me they do, I was recruited back to Dallas by Texas Instruments to become a member of the technical staff to work on developing chips for cell phones. During my stay in Dallas I married my college sweetheart who happens to be the sweetest and most beautiful person you will ever meet, started running 5K races, and became a die-hard mavericks and cowboys fan. After 5 years, my wife and I decided to be adventurous and moved to LA where I began working for a start-up technology company. We have been here a little over a year and so far so good. We mostly just hang out, go to the beach, and search for celebrities...
Cannot wait to see everyone next year!
