Thanks Paula for getting Steve in on this. Steve and I would log in under my name to view all the classmates starting soon after this site was started and enjoyed it very much. So I have to say this means alot to Steve and his family . Thanks again Paula

My husband Mike, along with Dan Fellenz and his brother Dave, and their band, played for the benefit for Steve.  I was at home with my son.  Wish I could have been there.  Hope the benefit helped Steve's family a lot.  It was so sad that he had to die so young.

I have heard rumors of a 25th in November.  Anybody?

Paula has been in contact with Scrubby and it sounds like something is on for either the day before or after Thanksgiving at Pillars. Sorry for the unclear answer, but Paula and I only talk in passing when headed opposite directions to kids events!

Happy to hear that this is in the works.  The day after might work better for those of us travelling to West Bend for Thanksgiving.

Thanks!

Tricia

Attention all! We need your help to get the word out. Social media and phone calls will be the way!!! Please pass on to as many as you can...

We will be having a reunion gathering on Friday November 28th at 7 pm. Pillars in West Bend is the Location- our friend Pat Kent (who subbed in our high schools) owns the bar. It will be open to the public as well. We will have food (and will ask for a donation if you eat). Pat will be taking $1 off all drinks. We would love an idea of who is coming. A Facebook event has been created at 25 year reunion Class of 1989 East&West High Schools and is open for all to see.

We will plan on doing some type of skype/facetime for those who can't be present.

No cover at the door. Donations for food. Money will be needed for whatever you want to buy yourself and your classmates to drink...real simple. 70s and 80s music. Dress the part if you wish, otherwise come as you are.

Please, if anyone wishes to do more, let us know.

Our apologies in advance for planning this a bit late in the year and around a holiday, which we know will be great for some but not for all.

We hope to see you there!!!

Paula and Kraig

I'm sorry I'll miss the 25th. I'll be on an orphanage mission trip in China for 2 weeks. Have fun!

It doesn't look like we will be coming to Wisconsin for Thanksgiving. Have a great time, can't wait to see pics!

Hello! Just getting a feel for if anyone uses this site anymore...

I don't use it regularly, but it does have a lot of great memories and my login still works. It would be fun to have people update their profiles for the 30-year reunion.

Rarely, although I do peek in to see if my name has been moved to the memorial section. Not yet!

First stages of planning are underway...first thing- let's make sure we have everybody! I am asking for volunteers - 1. Make sure you have a 1989 yearbook. 2. Respond here if you are willing to help. 3. I will then assign you several pages to review 4. Your job will be to make sure the people on those pages are either on FB and you have reached out to invite them to this page OR are on the 1989 west bend east/west reunion classcreator website we used for the first reunion. If neither, make note of that. There are 27 pages total (East & West), 20 peeps on each page. Gosh...can I get at least 7-10 to volunteer for this task????
It's hard to pick a date that will work for everyone. I am hoping the tentative date of July 27th works for man. That weekend is when the Washington County Fair is going on and WI state fair follows. Those that I have spoken with thought that may be a good time- not June as too many graduation events and August may be family vacation/back to school activities...I am hoping to meet with Mayor Kraig soon to discuss location. Open to thoughts/connections you all may have...
Thanks all!
