In 2011 I retired and moved to the playground in The Villages, FL with my husband Linwood. I took up golf, Mah Jongg, yoga, and kayaking with friends. To make some contributions to the community, I volunteer at the Friends of the Library bookstore and serve on it's Board of Directors. To engage our neighbors in fun activities, I serve as the coordinator of our neighborhood social club. Cooking, baking, and staging dinner parties are some of my favorite pastimes. I find traveling around Florida with girlfriends great fun. I live in an area which has more lakes than Oakland County, MI. Kayaking in these crystal clear rivers in close proximity to large turtles and alligators is very entertaining.

School Story

At the 2000 Millennial WBHS Reunion, I became reacquainted with two couples Rolly & Terri (Kidd) Hepinstall and Tom & Carol (Prout) Leahey. For the next 10 years we all got together annually with my husband Linwood for a "Big Chill" celebration. In our retirement, this connection finally lead the 6 of us to all move to "the adult playground" known as The Villages, FL. This stroke of luck eventually enabled me to reconnect with several more WBHS friends who have become a source of entertainment and pleasure such as Larry Anding, Browney Mascow, Martha (Kern) Ross, Lynn Copeland, Pam Kirk, Jon Kellner, Terry & Danny Greg, and last but not least Greg VanAcker.
