I only have one small memory of Daisy Karady.  She lived in my neighborhood and was taking tap dancing.  Daisy shared a few basic steps with me while we sang, "Grab your coat and get your hat.  Leave your worries on the door step.  Just direct your feet to the Sunny Side of the Street."  That's all I remember.  That and her  sweet smile.  I still practice her steps now and then - pull back down down, pull back down down...  Practice makes perfect!

Lenny, that reminds me of my Daisy memory.  In 8th grade at Sunset we were having s Christmas choir concert and Daisy and I were the "Angel" narrators.  The day before the  performance I was running bases(obviously it was PE as I'm not known for my sports prowess) and tore the tendons in my foot. In order for us to perform Daisy had to wheel me around in a wagon.  She was a little bit of a thing and was such a champ making sure that the show went on for us both.  My heart sank when I saw her on the "in memory" list.

Daisy had a wonderful smile and a great personality.  The only thing that stands out in my memory is that she said she was a gypsy.  I don't know how she came to live in West Covina.

Daisy, be assured that neither you nor your lovely family are forgotten.

Daisy Kardy, was a ONE of a Kind.  She ALWAYS had a BEAUTIFUL SMLE for all.  We shared several classes together, and became good friends.  She was only a several feet from my locker.  There were times when she needed some hellp getting her locker to open.  We laughed about it each time that we opened up her locker, and half of what ever she stuffed in came falling out.  Daisy was trully a one of a kind.  She will so missed by all classmates.  Rest ashured, Daisy, we will all meet again in the here after.  From Larry Fritz

I got to know Daisy as we were both in the Little Oscars, the drama club.  What a smile and always a sweet, happy attitude.  Her name truly fit her!  I'm so sorry to hear of her passing...she spread a lot of joy!

Daisy was in Mrs Pete's drama class with me our Junior year.  I had just moved to California and was shy.  She was such a joy to be around and really helped me transition.
