School Story
Moved to W L in August 1954, entering WLHS as new 9th grade student knowing no one in school.
Living in city, walking to school in a University town & in a class with high academic achieving classmates was daunting !π΅βπ« In time with helpful teachers and new friends, life smoothed out. π The WLHS athletic opportunities in basketball and golf were special challenges I accepted, and learned lessons of benefit for my lifetime. Special thanks Mr. Straley, Berberian, Bush, Mangus, and Casson. Your tough love influence has been lifetime invaluable for this boy. Each of you are remembered with great appreciation, as are my 4 years @ WLHS.
