I have never moved away from West Palm. I received 2 B.A.'s from FAU (Sociology & Geography). I work for the Post Office Just retired 6/1/15 after 32 years (Hurray- the nightmare is over) as an electronic technician maintaining internal processing electronic equipment and have my own mobile disc jockey business doing weddings, dances, reunions, parties of any kind, etc. (23 yrs).
Tragically my son died in 2003. My only boy, yet I have 5 awesome, beautiful daughters (4 married, 1 still at home and young (she attends Dreyfoos SOA for voice). There are 8 grandchildred (4 boys-Paxton,Mason,Jace, James & 4 girls-Jadyn,Joelie,Lucy,Addisyn). I still am active in the church (St.Ann), Knights of Columbus, Serra Club (along w/ Dennis F.), Pax Christi, P.E.A.C.E. (People Engaged in Active Community Efforts), and other social justice causes. I've travelled to Haiti several times on medical humanitarian trips.
I scuba (certified Nitrox, open water, deep dive, night dive and more), snow ski (my favorite-Canadian Rockies), still camp out as much as possible, attend folk festivals, pow-wow's. Still love Scouting. Started a Boy Scout Troop at Holy Name Church in West Palm, was Scoutmaster for several years, held National Jamboree and council leadership positions. I got into donating blood shortly after graduating Newman and was the youngest person to reach 50 gallons (400 units donated), according to South Florida Blood Bank. I'm still donating and at about 500 donations. Hey, what possible excuse other than medical could anyone legitimately use NOT to donate? It saves someones life! Not much to think about here. I quess you can see what I am passionate about. There is lots more, but rather than bore you further...maybe I'll see you soon. God Bless You all. Mike2/8/13 currently 3 daughgters are pregnant and by Oct.13 I will have three more grandchildren for a total of seven. Also in july 2011 I had a hemoragic stroke. Came through wonderfully, thanks to lots of prayers and the gracew of God. Absolutely no physical, mental or emotional side effects ( I'm still crazy off the wall! ).
