School Story:
I grew up in Macon GA till age 14. Changed elementary schools 4 times. We moved to Florida and I graduated from Palm Beach High. I had joined the Navy Reserves at 17. I left for full time active duty in 65. Returning from Viet Nam in 1967, I used the GI bill to attend a Jr. College in Georgia. Upon completion there I attended the University of GA where I received my Batchelor's degree in Commercial Art. Then, while teaching Art in public school,I completed my Master's in Special Education. I began work on my 6-Year Specialist Degree in Administration and Supervision. I was hired as a Director of a State and Federal program for exceptional children called Georgia Learning Resources System. I served there for 15 years. Upon completion, I went back into the classroom for an additional 8 years of teaching. Finally, upon retirement I taught for three years at Georgia College and State University.
