Comments:
Enlisted in the Navy, 1969. Became an Aviation Electronics Technician, E-5. Attended Naval Academy Prep School and on to the Naval Academy in 1972, graduated in 1976 with BSEE. Attended flight School, NFO wings Mar 1978. 3 years of aviation flight deck work on LPD-8 out of San Diego. 4 years of Pentagon doing Foreign Disclosure (don't ask). Married during Pentagon tour - 2 kids in DC area. Spent 2 years in Guantanamo Bay-(87-89). Picked up a Masters in Public Administration in Gitmo. Out of Navy, onto contractor work first in Jacksonville FLA, then Alexandria VA doing F/A-18 work- 15 years of that. Moved to Patuxent River MD - went Government as an Assistant Program Manager for Test and Evaluation for the AEA and EA-6B program office within NAVAL AIR SYSTEMS COMMAND - still there doing acquisition work for a new and expensive replacement for an old legacy system - multibillion dollar program. That will keep me busy until retirement(who knows when).
