School Story:

I moved from Whitehall, OH to Westerville in 1967 and graduated two years later. It was a good move for me as I fell in with "the right crowd" and made good friends from the choir and drama class.

I was cast as the male lead in the spring musical "Showboat" in 1969 as Gaylord Ravenal, a smooth talkin' Missippippi riverboat gambler opposite Liz Day who played the beautiful southern bell Magnolia Hawks.

I also played in a folk music trio along with Dean Roush and Mark Begin. It was cool because we got to play for school assemblies etc.

Just listened to the song on YouTube. A lot going on in that tune, Instruments seem to rival the vocals for dominance but in a good way. So much their to enjoy! Wish we were closer so I could get in op the fun! We had some good times!
