Hi everyone. I joined the US Navy on September 11, 1988; ironic as to the date. I lived in Japan for two years which was an amazing experience, one I will cherish the rest of my life. I spent the next 12 years on active duty for the Navy. I have traveled all over Asia including Japan, Okinawa, Korea, Philippines, Thailand, Hongkong, Guam, United Arab Imirates, Dubai, Baharain, Australia. The Navy allowed me to see so much of what this wonderful world has to offer. So many friendships I have been blessed with and cultures to experience. I left active duty in 2000 and spent the rest of my time for the last 8 years in the Navy reserve and Army National Guard. I hit my 20 year mark last August of 2008; doesn't seem possible. I went to work for BNSF Railway Company as a freight train conductor for the next 5 years after leaving the Navy. It was a lot of fun riding the trains from Los Angeles to Barstow California and occasionally down to San Diego and back; along the coast. I am now living in Beaumont, California. I really enjoy it out this way; has that small town feel but still an hour away from all the beaches. I have two wonderful children, a boy and a girl. I was blessed with my daughter after coming home from Japan with my previous wife. After divorcing in 1994 due to hard circumstances, I took some time off from the "dating" scene, ha, ha...and spent quality time with my daughter of whom I had full custody. In 1997 I met my present wife of 11 years now. She is a wonderful person and is from the Philippines. I met her in San Francisco while stationed in Alameda, Ca. with the Navy. Her and I have a wonderful son together named T.J. Both of our kids are wonderful and a handfull at times; especially our daughter who is 16 going on 35....wonderful teenage years...is anyone in the same shoes I am going through right now??Well, this pretty much wraps up what has been happening to me the last 20 years from being out of High School. I hope to hear from all of those who new me and even those that didn't. Take care all and God bless.
