Hmmm - 1979, OK, I started working at Heritage House Floral Shop in Downers Grove and then mysteriously ended up working in the insurance business up until 2007. I met my husband Mike Gardner at Rosin Optometrists (he worked there), and we married in 1991. Ryan was born in 1992 and Spencer in 1994. We moved to Sheridan, IL in 1997. In 2000, Mike was diagonosed with Colon Cancer and after a 4 year battle, passed away 02/06/2004. I met my current husband, Rudy, on Match.com in December of 2004 and we married 09/03/2005. I am soon to be a Grandmother through my step-daughter, Valerie, who is due in March of 2010. My son Ryan will be graduating highschool in 2010 and joining the Navy. Spencer is a freshman in highschool and enjoying every minute of it - he's also on the golf team at Serena Highschool. I guess that's about it for my story - would love to hear everyone else's stories!!!

I guess it would have to be about Susan Shedivy, my homeroom teacher. She gave us all a bottle of Champagne for our graduation, and apparently a few parents were upset and contacted the school. From what I heard through the grapevine (no pun intented!), she lost her job at WHS for giving alcohol to minors - go figure!!!!
