Westmount High School
Class of 1975
WE DID IT !!!
Over $50,000 was donated by the Class of '75 in honour of the 50 Year Reunion!
In late August 2025, Gawa and Tami visited WHS again to meet with the current principal and his team and to present them with a cheque that brings the total net proceeds of our class gift to $50,107 !

This donation is being used to enrich the school's music program, by purchasing musical instruments that will allow students in all grades to participate in a full music program. The first purchase saw the school acquire 40 new Yamaha instruments, and more are to follow!

THIS LEGACY THAT WE LEAVE WAS MADE POSSIBLE BY SO MANY GENEROUS CLASSMATES AND WE ARE GRATEFUL TO ALL WHO CONTRIBUTED TO THIS CAMPAIGN, IN GREAT OR SMALL WAYS GIVING BACK TO THIS VIBRANT INSTITUTION THAT WAS SUCH AN INTEGRAL PART OF OUR YOUTH.
On December 17th, representatives of the Class of '75 were invited by WHS to attend their Holiday Concert and witness firsthand the students' inaugural public performance with these new instruments. Music teacher Guy Cox expressed his gratitude for this incredible gift of music education, both to us privately, and publicly during the concert.
