It was so great to see so many of my classmates last night! I can't believe how everyone has changed. Well almost everyone. There are still a couple of you that have not changed a bit and a couple that if I seen on the street I would not have known. To everyone who planned it you did a great job and the turnout was unreal! I had to leave early due to my parents were having their 40th wedding anniversary party, but I had a good time while I was there. I wish everyone well.

Hello Everyone!!!!!!!!!!

I just wanted to say how nice it was to see everyone again! I would like to Thank all of you for inviting me, I had a blast! I hope this website will continue to stay on, so we are able to keep in touch with each other. I would also like to thank everyone who was involved in putting together such a wonderful reunion and such an awsome night. This was the most fun I have had in years....Remember when we use to think someone in their 30's was old? Life is just getting started!!!

It was great seeing everyone....time has a way of changing us in ways that we could have never imagined. I have a great time at the family picnic. Seeing some of our classmates I had not seen in years was worth it all. Is it not amazing how some of us live only 40 miles or less apart and we still never see one another! Life just gets in the way of our fun...ha ha ha. For those of you that may not have heard I am doing a powerpoint on the entire class reunion. I have it already started but I welcome photos from everyone. Don't be suprised if your photo has a funny caption or something added. I want to do the best I can so I hope everyone will understand that it will take some time to put it all together. You can email me at HSCServices@rapidcable.com. It would be best if you just email me the photos you would like added. As you could imagine the powerpoint could get quit long. Please no offense when all of you will be my friends forever and NO getting around that!!!!!

Happy New Year to ALL!
Hey everybody, hope this post finds you and yours all and good!
It is 2009 and the world is still turning. We survived 9/11, we made it through our 20 year reunion(which was a blast! Hats off to the crew who put it together!) and in a couple of days we will witness another moment in history. To look back to 1988 and then to the present day, who would have thought we'd be where we are today. We've all went through life changing experiences that were good and bad and some we've won and some we've lost. They have all made us who we are today.
And that old saying,"If I only knew then what I know now..." Well, would you really change anything???? Think about it! Even if we only changed one thing from the past it would have still changed everything from that point to where we are today.
Yes, I have caught myself uttering those words at several especially trying times in my life, and when I go back, they would be gone! Those little heart strung moments, those now priceless pictures and memories in between I would have missed, like unwrapping my newborn babies to count their fingers and toes, or that birthday we camped on the beach and slept under the stars and then watching your children growing, graduating...and when you weren't looking and it all went waaaay to fast. Stop and look around; 20 years here and gone. I am pretty sure we all are in agreement, that we wouldn't trade a million dollars for those moments that took our breaths away and when we get down and out those good times are what cause us to pull up our boot-straps and keep going. The goodtimes always out shine the bad.
Remember it could always be worse and the glass is ALWAYS half Full!

Stay in touch!

To Kids Who Survived Growing Up in the 1960's, 70's and 80's

First, we survived being born to mothers who smoked and/or drank while they were pregnant.

They took aspirin, ate blue cheese dressing, tuna from a
can and didn't get tested for diabetes.

Then after that trauma, we were put to sleep on our tummies in baby cribs covered with bright colored lead-base paints.

We had no childproof lids on medicine bottles, locks on
doors or cabinets and when we rode our bikes, we had
baseball caps not helmets on our heads.

As infants & children, we would ride in cars with no
car seats, no booster seats, no seat belts, no air bags,
bald tires and sometimes no brakes!

Riding in the back of a pick- up truck on a warm day was
always a special treat.

We drank water from the garden hose and not from a bottle.

We shared one soft drink with four friends, from one bottle and no one actually died from this.

We ate cupcakes, white bread, real butter and bacon. We
drank Kool-Aid made with real white sugar. And, we
weren't overweight. WHY?

Because we were always outside playing...that's why!
We would leave home in the morning and play all day, as
long as we were back when the streetlights came on.
No one was able to reach us all day. And, we were O.K.

We would spend hours building our go-carts out of scraps
and then ride them down the hill, only to find out we forgot the brakes.
After running into the bushes a few times, we
learned to solve the problem.

We did not have Playstations, Nintendo's and X-boxes.
There were no video games, no 150 channels on cable, no
video movies or DVD's, no surround-sound or CD's, no
cell phones, no person al computers, no Internet and no chat rooms.

WE HAD FRIENDS and we went outside and found them!

We fell out of trees, got cut, broke bones and teeth and
there were no lawsuits from these accidents.

We ate worms and mud pies made from dirt, and the worms
did not live in us forever.

We were given BB guns for our 10th birthdays and, although we were told it would happen, we did not put out very many eyes.

WE made up games with sticks and tennis balls.

We rode bikes or walked to a friend's house and knocked
on the door or rang the bell, or just walked in and talked to them.

Little League had tryouts and not everyone made the team. Those who didn't had to learn to deal with disappointment.

Imagine that!!

The idea of a parent bailing us out if we broke the law was unheard of. They actually sided with the law!

These generations have produced some of the best
risk-takers, problem solvers and inventors ever.
The past 50 years have been an explosion of innovation and new ideas.

We had freedom, failure, success and responsibility, and we learned how to deal with it all.

If YOU are one of them? CONGRADULATIONS!

You might want to share this with others who have had the luck to grow up as kids, before the lawyers and the
government regulated so much of our lives for our own good.

While you are at it, forward it to your kids so they will know how brave and lucky their parents were.

Kind of makes you want to run through the house with
scissors, doesn't it?

Jay Leno made this comment the other night:

'With hurricanes, tornados, fires out of control, mud
slides, flooding, severe thunderstorms tearing up the
country from one end to another, and with the threat of bird & swine flu and terrorist attacks, are we sure this is a good time to take God out of the Pledge of Allegiance?'

For those of us that prefer to think that God is always watching over us...Thank God AMEN!
