Norma Yvonne "Bonnie" Barron Botts was born July 22, 1950 to Norman Lewis and Etta Mae Barron. She died February 4, 2009. She was married to John Botts on June 26, 1968. She is survived by her husband and two sons.

Bonnie was one of my best friends. We met each other in a cul de sac on Wiesman Road in 1957 when we were seven. She was riding her bike and I was roller skating. From that moment on we were fast friends. We shared sleepovers, secrets, baking cookies, phone time, meeting boys, walking to "Peoples" in Glenmont, shopping for matching outfits at Wheaton Plaza. Summers were spent in my backyard pool, playing jacks, jumprope and hopscotch. When were were teens, along with our other BFF Beverly Gladstone we even got to see the Beatles during their first tour.
