What's New
I'm so saddened to hear about Gene's passing. I wasn't really acquainted with Gene when we were at Wheaton. However,I never heard anything about Gene that was in any way negative. He was always very friendly to everyone. Gene will be missed.
Happy Birthday, Vic!
Hey Paul, greetings from up the road in quiet, heavily masked Lewes, DE. Congratulations on your 70th birthday -- that's terrific! I hope all is well with you and yours and look forward to seeing you or speaking with you sometime in the near future. Stay safe and happy -- JR

Hi Patty, hope all is well with you. I recently saw the classic film "Anatomy of a Murder," which as you know is about a murder that took place in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan in the early 1950s. It was a great film, the best courtroom drama I have ever seen, so I went and read the book it was based on. The descriptions in the book of the geographical beauty of the U.P., made me appreciate that you live in one beautiful location.
My apologies for the belated message. It was very good to see you again at our 50th Class Reunion.

So . . . .it’s the last day of school for the students, and their final grades will post on Monday. What an incredible experience — one that I never imagined I would have. I am grateful to the students, the instructors and administrators for making me feel so welcome -- and for putting up with me and my daily dose of Bad Dad Jokes. I was in the midst of some of the finest people I’ll ever meet — and at Wheaton High School, no less. What a life . . .

Dear Norman, I know I'm a day late (please forgive me) but a very happy birthday month to you sir. Hopefully you're finding retirement a wonderful thing -- at least that's my sincere wish for you. Best regards on however many candles you happen to light up -- Jonathan

First and third period engineering classes at Wheaton High School -- the year-end project: building robots. Here I am fifty-one years after graduating from WHS, serving as a long-term substitute teacher, with some terrific -- and much smarter -- students. What a blessing life is . . .
