Obituary

Elmer L. Tipton, Jr. husband of Darlene C. Tipton passed from a brain aneurysm at the Washington Hospital Center on December 10, 2012. 

Son of the late Elmer L. Tipton, Sr. and Betty J. Tipton nee Woolsoncroft. Brother to Judy K. DeBold (deceased)- husbnd Sterling DeBold Sr., Alethea Burch-husband Chuck and Brett Tipton-wife Theresa. Uncle to Dawn (DeBold), Frickx, Crystal (DeBold) Judd, Sterling DeBold, Jr., Denise (Burch) Lo Castro and Lindsey (Burch) Kennedy. 
Elmer worked as a contractor programmer for the Department of Commerce's National Oceanic and Atmospheric Association for the past 18 years. 

Elmer enjoyed reading, computer games and watching TV and loved his dog Penny.

Family will receive friends on Monday, December 17, 2012 from 10:00 to 12:00 noon at the Huntt Funeral Home 3035 Old Washington Road, Waldorf, Maryland where funeral service will be at 12:00 noon. Burial to follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens, Waldorf, Maryland
