Patricia Ann Norris Fowle  (Age 90)  
Patricia Ann Norris Fowle, daughter of William Raymond Norris and Beulah Corinne Martin, died peacefully in her sleep on June 14, 2017, joining her husband of 48 years John Robert Fowle "Doc." Pat was a beloved mother to three sons, John (Karen), Michael (Joan) and Raymond (Denise) who survive her; as well as a daughter, Jan Corinne Fowle Mears (Robert) who preceded her in death. She is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren whom she deeply loved. These include nine grandchildren, Eliza Ballin, Alison Fowle, Brett Fowle, Raymond Fowle II, Kevin Fowle, Trey Mears, Cassandra Mears, Michelle Fowle and Wesley Mears; as well as three great grandchildren, Raegan Fowle, Serafina Ballin and Cadence Fowle. Pat was born and raised in Washington, DC attending Eastern High School, Wilson Teachers College and the University of Maryland where she earned a Masters degree in English. She was a generous contributor to charities supporting child welfare, especially Compassion International. Pat was passionate about children and education. She taught at Wheaton High School and served as yearbook sponsor for 17 years. In retirement Pat taught English as a second language as well as disciple classes at the Oakdale United Methodist Church. In her later years she was active in the Asbury Retirement Community and Grace United Methodist Church in Gaithersburg, MD. Arrangements for a memorial service will be made at a later date. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the Asbury Guild of the Asbury Retirement Community in Gaithersburg, MD.
