Ribbens, John Arthur
61, passed away Wednesday April 28, 2010, after a strongly fought battle with cancer. John moved to Arizona from Milwaukee, Wisconsin more than 40 years ago. He graduated from the University of Arizona, College of Architecture in 1972. John practiced architecture in the valley for more than 30 years. He left his imprint and spirit on Mill Avenue in Tempe, restoring historic structures and erecting new ones. He created great beauty with his hands through his paintings and the landscaped gardens of his home. He is survived by his wife, Marie Louise; his two daughters, Rebecca Marie and Elizabeth Anne; his mother, Verda; his sisters Jacqueline and Nancy; and his brother Edward.
