After graduating from Texas A&M and then going to Houston for nursing school, I met up with Phil again (I just happened to live a few miles away from him). We fell in love and I was fortunate enough to get to marry my best friend! We have been married for 11 years. Phil left the corporate world 3 years ago and is now an Area Director for Young Life Ministries, a non-profit Christian outreach High School ministry for teenagers. It has been such a huge blessing and lifestyle change to say the least. Haha. I wish we would've had Young Life in our high school because it certainly would've saved me a lot of trouble. :o)
I worked as a Neonatal ICU nurse for many years and am now working as a pharmaceutical sales rep part time.
We have 3 beautiful girls, with our oldest daughter being mentally handicapped. She is a joy and a sweet precious child. She has a birth defect of her brain that occurred during my pregnancy. We feel honored to be her parents. Our middle and youngest daughters are healthy and full of all the drama you'd expect from little girls.
We are super active and Phil and I are both runners and love to be outside.
Unfortunately I will not be at the reunion...we are taking our Young Life group of 50 kids to camp the same Saturday as the reunion. I am so sad to miss it!!! I will try to make a Friday night event if there is one!!
