It only lasted 4 years - probably the best thing. Sorry - not the greatest years of my life - it's been so much better since then! Another way to look at it is that I reflect on my HS years and have a reference point for how much I've changed for the better. You gotta start somewhere!
Life is what happens when you are busy making other plans. I planned college and grad school. But, I did not plan going back to school for another master's degree and that decision took my life in a completely different direction. After the age of 30, I had married, divorced and remarried. Now, I'm the happiest I've ever been. Life gets better after 40 as I made the decision to take the biggest risk in my life and open up my own business in health and wellness. On a sad note, my father died suddenly in September of 2007. That event is what prompted me to stop being afraid of risk and loss and live life more to it's fullest potential. So, I'm loving living in Colorado where there is over 300 days of sunshine/year which makes it great to play outside. I've only been back to Wisconsin 4 times in the past 20 years. One time was for the 20 year HS reunion. Is 25 years going to be any different?
